DINING OUT FOR LIFE - 2007





XS & Neo Viccino will be a restaurant partner for Dining Out for Life on Thursday April 26th, 2007. We will be contributing 20% of all lunch and dinner sales to Moveable Feast.

On April 26, 2007, thousands of people in the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan Area will participate in one of the most rewarding dining experiences of the year. Moveable Feast's Dining Out for Life event will raise tens of thousands of dollars, thanks to the generosity of community-minded restaurants, sponsors, and those who dine out with their families and friends that day to help our neighbors in need.
By simply eating out at one of the participating restaurants, at least 20 percent of proceeds that day will go to help feed hundreds of men, women, and children right here in our community living with HIV/AIDS, and other life-challenging conditions such as breast cancer.Mark your calendars now for Dining Out for Life 2007, which will take place on Thursday, April 26.
Every time you dine, please be sure to thank them for supporting Moveable Feast and making a difference in the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS and those in treatment for breast cancer.

Jay's Restaurant Group Turns 40 Years Old!

That's right! Jay's has been around since 1967. Originally starting out as Jay's Tavern Inc., it was a bar and package goods store. By 1977 Moe Bloom joined the company and brought the food with him. The company turned into Jay's Restaurant Group, expanding from what was one restaurant & bar to what is now 6 locations and a catering company. However Jay's also still exists at it's original location: 1309 North Charles Street.

One of original hits on the menu then is still on there now; the Jay's Combo (Seeded deli rye, corned beef, melted imported swiss, sweet cole slaw, russian dressing, with pickles and chips)
