I alternate between being liking X S and being terrified of it. It tries to be so much -- diner, coffee shop, sushi bar, club, and more... -- and generally succeeds.The name certainly does sum it up: X S (excess)

Good consistent food from this "finer diner." Although I have to say I was very underwhelmed by the sushi. Everything else that I have had has been consistently good, including the service.

great sushi, dj, and they close late! its good to know that i can go there after drinking in the mt.vernon neighbourhood and have some decent sushi.
